Our
I-Beam Floor Systems employ some of today's most advanced technology in order to create a
floor far superior to any conventional method available.
Old style floors use 2x10 lumber for support. Unfortunately, this material can shrink, twist, and warp which produces uneven, squeaky floors every homeowner fears.
Our
Joist Floor Systems use kiln dried lumber and specially designed Oriented Strand Board (OSB) to form a composite wooden I-beam. This innovative design resists shrinkage and will not warp, twist or crown. The result is a perfectly flat floor.
The advantages don't stop there. Although
"I" joists use far less wood than traditional joists, the material that is used is engineered to produce a susbstantially stronger joist. And stronger joists mean stiffer floors, longer spans and fewer teleposts. This allows for flexibility in design that no traditional joist can offer.
Rather than the materials being selected at random from a lumber yard, every
floor package is individually designed and engineered using our patented computer software. This software helps us determine what size and style of joist is best suited for your home. We then use the program to design a detailed, full-color installation layout. With this layout, your builder has all of the information needed to ensure
